We want to tell applicants about some engineering areas. Officially, they are called
"Field of knowledge 17 Electronics, automation and electronic communications"
and "Field of knowledge 16 Chemical and bioengineering".
The Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology prepares
bachelors and masters for this field in the following specialties:
174 (G7) - Automation, computer-integrated technologies and robotics;
175 (G5) - Information and measurement technologies;
163 (G22)- Biomedical Engineering
The world of computer and information technology is developing extremely rapidly, and these specialties will be in demand for more than one decade..
We will list only the main competencies of graduates of the specialty G7.
1. Ability to apply special knowledge to create effective automation systems for complex technological objects and complexes based on intelligent control methods and computer technologies using databases, knowledge bases and artificial intelligence methods.
2. Ability to professionally use special software for the development of computer-integrated control systems and software and hardware complexes based on industrial controllers, human-machine interface tools and information networks.
3. Ability to apply modeling and optimization methods to study and create effective control systems for complex technological and organizational and technical objects.
4. Special knowledge of network data transmission technologies used in automated systems of various levels and purposes.
5. Special knowledge for the design and implementation of highly reliable systems and their application software for the implementation of information management and processing functions based on modern provisions of the theory of reliability, functional safety of software and hardware, analysis and reduction of risks in complex systems.
